Went out for a night on the town recently, I needed a little "Edge" and I was feeling a little bossy like a "Dominatrix" and a bit "Vain" because you know I'm "Fancy" right?
In other words, my whole outfit was from the IV boutique...The Edge skirt, The Dominatrix belt, the Vain shirt, and the Fancy Handbag...I got many compliments and was quite pleased...
First I went out to dinner and then I went out to a nice little lounge spot.
The lady in dots is my best friend, I borrowed her leg because I needed a resting spot for my arm... :) Jking, but as you can see, we had a blast...
Yaaaaaayyyyy! My business cards came in today, and I was sooo excited that I had to share...instead of waiting to get my hands on my digital camera, I took the pics on my phone...
I hope you like. I chose this design because I feel like lace personifies all that Intoxicating Vixen is about...sophisticated, feminine, sexy and of course intoxicating. I hope you enjoy the design and I can't wait to pass these beauties out.
Oh yes...and I'm officially "Fine-Twenty Nine"...it feels great...can't wait to be "Dirty-Flirty Thirty"...on second thought...I can wait.
Today is my LAST day of being 28...and tommorrow will mark the last year of my 20's...I'm not going to lie...I'm a bit sad about it...where did the time go?
Unfortunately, my "ganny" (grandmother) passed away recently and that put a halt on everything. I was extremely close to her and I just needed some time to get myself together. She was a Vixen in her own right, she didn't care about the cost of a piece of clothing, if it made her look and feel good, she had to have it. She had been a fan of boutiques since I was a little girl, always stating that she preferred shopping at boutiques because the pieces were more exclusive and my Ganny HAD to stand out, she was a stylish snobby Libra :D . When I told her that I was opening a boutique she took quite an interest in it, she was proud and excited. When I recieved my first dress, I ran to her house and tried it on, she loved the piece and gave me honest feedback. To say I miss her, is an understatement. I'm still mourning and going through the motions of not being able to have her in my life physically, but sometimes feeling her spirit and the words she left with me is comforting enough.
With that being said, I'm back to it, November aka Scorpio Season (if you couldnt tell, I am a proud Scorp) will be an exciting time for IV. I've ordered my business cards today, and I am extremely excited, they are extra cute. Hint: Lace will be the reoccuring theme for IV...

This is my ganny when she was around my age...as you can see, she was extra fly, this was in the 1950's, lol off the shoulder dress and open toe shoes, does it get any flyer than that for that time-frame? Nails done, hair done, everything did, she was fancy huh????
lol And lastly...my natural hair tutorials...I'm actually relaxed now, but I miss my wild hair...it'll be back one day, anyways, I shared the tutorial with one of my facebook friends, figured I would share with you guys too...

My lovely best friend wore the Mocha edition of the dress her birthday and submitted pictures to become the Fashion Bombshell of the day...and...she made it...
Just a few minutes ago, I recieved my first order of dresses...I cant wait to post them up on the site, these are the dresses that I have been eyeing for a while. I will be ordering my next set of dresses this friday..Everytime I get a package for my boutique, its like christmas for me.
This weekend, my lovely friend let me borrow her talents for a "mini-shoot" with my digital camera. Chimebere Iruka is a makeup artist who is like no other, she has the ability to transform any face into a masterpiece...and she's a perfectionist. Later on I will post some of the pics from the shoot, she really captured the pieces nicely as she was my "photographer" as well.
I just wanted to share my excitement about whats been going on with Intoxicating Vixen, there has been so much going on these past couple of days, I couldn't be more happier.
I finally ordered one of the dresses that I have been eying for a while, I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. I can't wait for this dress to debut on the site which will probaly be sometime this week or next week
My third order will be happening very shortly, a little preview...a ultra femme cocktail dress....stay tuned...
My very first shipment was supposed to come Friday...I was sooooo excited. I logged on to the UPS site, and found my package in "Exception" status, which mean the shipping was delayed until Monday. Out of the 365 days of the year, there was a power outage early in the AM at the UPS site my package was being held at...however, that did not stop my fun...I have uploaded the first shipment of products on to my site.
The first shipment included a couple of belts and accessories. I am looking forward to my next few shipments which will include dresses and handbags. ALSO I must say, I have an extra special complimentary gift for my customers that I'll be ordering soon as well. I cant wait to get them, they are sooooo cute and is of use to every Intoxicating Vixen out there.
